The Collaborative is recruiting parents and providers to join its Governance Committee. The Collaborative needs your help recruiting parents and caregivers who have children receiving mental health services, or seeking services, for children ages 0-21. We want to know what their child’s mental health experience has been like as part of the children’s mental health system.

The Governance Committee will review a number of amendments to the Hennepin County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative (HCCMHC) Bylaws during this meeting. A summary of the recommended changes has been prepared to assist voting members as they prepare to vote next week. Attendance of voting members, or their alternates, is requested.
NAMI Minnesota’s top priority for the 2021 legislative session was to pass a comprehensive workforce bill targeted at increasing the number of mental health professionals, and increasing diversity and becoming more culturally informed.
The stipend policy was unanimously approved by the Governance Committee on 5/31/21 via online voting. The stipend policy will be added to the bylaws.
