Our friends at the PCLG, know that parents and families are juggling a lot these days, and they want to help. They have created a new monthly workshop series called “Let’s Talk About It” where parents and caregivers can check in for a short topic on navigating children’s mental health. Their first “Let’s Talk About It“ event will be a visit with Angela Davis, a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager, Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00pm.

Please note the events will not be recorded, so participants will need to attend live.

We are so excited about this is event created by parents/caregivers! Please share this opportunity with parents & families that would be interested!

Cigna welcomes applications for Healthier Kids For Our Future® Mental Health grant program

Deadline: February 26, 2021

The health insurance company Cigna is inviting applications for its Healthier Kids For Our Future® Mental Health Grant program. The program seeks to supplement existing mental health programming and close gaps both in and outside the school environment, with a focus on loneliness, anxiety, depression, and suicide prevention. Programs will be funded that foster collaboration between stakeholders aimed at  addressing mental health and emotional well-being challenges for children. Grants of between $50,000 and $125,000 a year for up to three years will be awarded.
